The restaurant kochZIMMER is a hidden gem in the heart of Potsdam, perfect for special occasions. Our kitchen and service teams serve "New Prussian Cuisine"—opulent dishes crafted primarily from regional ingredients and presented as four- to six-course menus. We look forward to welcoming you, whether you drop by spontaneously or make a reservation.

Whether for weddings, business dinners, or gatherings with friends, we provide the perfect setting for your event—offering a choice between our stylish dining area and a separate private dining room with a fireplace. Our romantic courtyard is the highlight of the summer season.

THE ANNIVERSARY YEAR 2026 – 15 Years of kochZIMMER

We are celebrating our "New Prussian Cuisine" with our guests, offering an anniversary menu starting at €115.00.

We serve set menus exclusively; à la carte dishes are not available. Please specify any requests for a vegetarian menu or the "kochZIMMER STARS" option when making your reservation. Our "kochZIMMER STARS" package is available upon request on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Payments can be made in cash (Euros), or via debit card, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. We do not issue gift vouchers. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or the courtyard garden.

Christmas: December 25 and 26, 2026
On these days, our restaurant opens at 6:00 PM. We serve our New Prussian Cuisine in either a "classic" or "vegetarian" version. The menu price is €155.00 per person. A deposit of €50.00 per person is required to secure your reservation.

Opening Hours: Wednesday to Saturday from 6:00 PM; Sunday to Tuesday and lunch service available upon request for parties and groups.

Easter holiday: from April 5, 2026 to April 14, 2026
Summer holiday: from August 2, 2026 to August 25, 2026
Winter holiday: December 27, 2026 to January 12, 2027
